People Watch: Hannah and Landon Metz

Hannah and Landon Metz are a couple who currently live and work in Brooklyn NY, Hannah as an arist / illustrator and Landon as a Graphic Designer (he was responsible for the iconic American Apparel Afrika print adorning many a hipster's leg during the summer of 09).

Through their blog (hannahandlandon.blogspot.com) they post about their work, their style, their ailments and the mundainess of young married life, but it is through their photography that their lives are truly portrayed - their pictures have the most fabulous nostalgic quality and Hannah has only what can be described as a vintage wardrobe TO DIE FOR!

Wonderfully Gleeful!

So everyone's been talking about it for quite a while, and last night it arrived. Glee, the new comedy/drama/musical from Fox is tipped to be a new trend setter. Guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury played by Jayma Mays has some of the best twin set and pearl outfits we've seen in a long time.

 

   

Burly Queen: Immodesty Blaize

Im very excited on seeing the movie Burlesque Undressed in HD by Burlesque Queen Immodesty Blaize! The film shows footage of her live shows and interviews of burlesque performers past and present. Apparently the soundtrack is pretty good too.. I'm most looking forward to seeing the amazing costumes.

Inspirational women: Diane Pernet

Only ever seen as a black ghostly figure wearing black sun glasses (we're not even 100% sure she has eyeballs). Legendary fashion critic and blogger http://www.ashadedviewonfashion.com/ has a knack for spotting young talent and trends when they are just a twinkle in a designer's eye. Her blog is very inspirational and gives us a sneaky peek into her very cool life.
